After earning my BS Industrial Design degree, we formally set up a company so we can apply what we learned -- visual and product design -- in our own time. A few years later, after finishing my MBA, we then included the marketing consultancy service. Now in the DBA, we are happy to add a more in-depth managerial research service.

Because of the requests from my most trusted, we created a car and bus airconditioning company that would focus on after-market maintenance and repair of any vehicle brand.

It all started in 1967. My grandfather Mario and father Roberto had a new venture -- Malabon Diesel Injection Service. This became the precedent to a network of diesel service centers, which, with the siblings, eventually became the MCB Group.

ZEXEL - Diesel Kiki
Volunteering in 1990, we were sent to ZEXEL Japan to train in automotive airconditioner installation and repair. It ended in the Hiroshima factory of Mazda. Echoed training to Francisco Motor Corporation's (then assembler of Mazda vehicles in Philippines) Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao service dealer network.

APM Malaysia (Fujiyama)
Stayed in Malaysia for a month to do more extensive hands-on training at Fujiyama Car Cooler, the sister company of Nissan assembler Tan Tiong Motors. Karaoke, roadside breakfasts, fantastic home cooking...with the Kok family and Sunny Lim.
