Welcome to OUR homepage! After procrastinating for almost eleven years -- starting several interesting(?) personal websites only to leave them unfinished -- our page is now done. No more changes! I hope that you will enjoy your visit. This is a testament to how important you are in my life. In general, there are only five (5) important elements in my life. Whenever I say a prayer, I thank God for the blessings that my (1) family and (2) friends continuously receive, the (3) business opportunities that continue to knock, (4) the many things that I learn and effectively do as a teacher and student, and, of course, having an (5) understanding and caring labidabs. The concept is so simple, a prayer usually lasts one minute. So short, we can pray it as much as we can...or want. Like a hand, the family is the thumb. It is the digit that most affects the activity of the four fingers. As such, our success in life -- relationship with friends, business, school and marriage -- is a function of our life with the family. "Our Wave" by Roberto M. Bernardo, Jr.; Oil on Canvas (20" x 16"); May 1983. A friend, Mohan Dargani, once told me “Stay on the shore, and a wave will come.” In a world full of personal and professional opportunities, we sometimes wonder how long we should stay on one shore, or when it is best to move on to another. We wouldn’t know when a good wave will rise on the horizon but, if we stay long enough, THE wave will surely come. One wave can wipe out all our problems...and with God’s blessings, it will. With faith, ours will arrive soon! |
